Empowering the Next Generation: Youth Called to Lead Change in the North

The Zazzau School of Health Technology held its 1st unveiling and induction ceremony on June 29, 2024, with a call to youth to become the engine of society.

The event featured a keynote address by Abdul-Azeez Suleiman, who emphasized the importance of youth empowerment and leadership. Suleiman praised the school’s efforts in mentoring and educating young people, stressing that the North needs leaders who can drive progress and bring about positive change.

He encouraged the youth to learn from the past, embrace their heritage, and work together to address challenges facing their communities. The speech highlighted the need for quality education, moral values, and proactive leadership to address issues like poverty, insecurity, and social injustice.

Suleiman urged the youth to demand more from their leaders and work towards building a better future for the North. The event was attended by notable figures, including General Hassan Mamman Lai and Kuliyan Zazzau Justice Ishaq Usman Bello, who were recognized for their leadership and commitment to the community.

The ceremony aimed to inspire and motivate young people to become agents of change and shape the future of their nation.
