The immediate Past Administrator of Jaba Local Government Area, Kaduna State, Hon. Dr. Nita Byack George, has extended her heartfelt congratulations to the Kaduna State Government and Senator Uba Sani, the Governor of Kaduna State, for being honored as “Governor of the Year” at the esteemed ThisDay/AriseTV Anniversary Awards on Monday, January 27, 2025.
In a statement, Dr. George expressed her joy and pride in the recognition bestowed upon Governor Sani, stating:
“I am thrilled to extend my warmest congratulations to the Kaduna State Government and Senator Uba Sani, the Governor of Kaduna State, on being named ‘Governor of the Year’ at the esteemed ThisDay/AriseTV Anniversary Awards.
“This well-deserved recognition is a testament to Governor Sani’s tireless efforts in restoring peace and fostering unity in Kaduna State. His administration’s multifaceted approach to tackling insecurity, driving progress across critical sectors, and prioritizing collaboration with security agencies, community leaders, and residents has been truly commendable.
“The significant reduction in security incidents, revitalization of troubled communities, and strengthened bonds among diverse groups in the state are all notable achievements that have earned Governor Sani this prestigious award.
“Your Excellency, your commitment to education, healthcare, infrastructure development, and agriculture has also been outstanding, positioning Kaduna State as a model of inclusive governance.
“As the immediate past Administrator of Jaba Local Government Area of Kaduna State, I am proud to see the progress being made under Governor Sani’s leadership. Sir, this award is not only a recognition of your achievements but also a testament to the resilience and determination of the people of Kaduna State.
“Once again, I congratulate you, the people’s governor, and the Kaduna State Government on this well-deserved honour, and I wish Your Excellency and the good people of Kaduna State continued success in our endeavours to build a more peaceful, prosperous, and inclusive Kaduna State.”
In the same vein, Dr. George celebrated the appointment of Alhaji Yusuf Hamisu Abubakar (MaiRago), Senior Honorary Advisor to Governor Uba Sani, as the Chairman of the Board of the Nigerian Maritime Administration and Safety Agency (NIMASA) by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
She remarked:
“His appointment is a testament to the fact that Kaduna, as a progressive State, has continued to produce illustrious sons and daughters, working and excelling in various aspects of human endeavours within and outside the country.
“We wish you all the best as you represent the good people of Kaduna State in this national assignment.”
Dr. Nita Byack George’s message underscores the collective pride in the achievements of Kaduna State’s leaders and their contributions to the state’s growth and national development.
