Nyesom Ezenwo Wike, the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), is set to receive the esteemed Minister of the Year 2024 award at the ThisDay and Arise Television Awards in Lagos. This recognition honors his outstanding contributions to national development, particularly in education and infrastructure.
As Minister of State, Wike initiated the establishment of Almajiri schools, providing education for underprivileged children in northern Nigeria. He also championed initiatives to provide pipe-borne water to underserved communities.
Wike’s tenure as FCT Minister has been praised for its efficiency, innovation, and commitment to improving citizens’ lives. He achieved unprecedented milestones, delivering record-breaking infrastructural and developmental projects within the shortest time frame in the history of the FCT administration.

The national President of the Better Brain Initiative for Nigeria (BBIGN), Dr. Emmanuel C.
